Ambassador Transitional Living Program

The Maroa Home now features a six month transitional living program in addition to our twelve month Christian Discipleship program.

We are making 30 beds available to this new program track, 10 of which will be for Spanish speaking residents.

Participants in this new program will maintain employment outside the home and will participate in educational and recovery groups during their time off. These men will have a less demanding academic program than our discipleship residents but will have access to the life changing classes of our full Recovery Track as needed. The program will include:

• Drug and Alcohol Education

• Anger Management Training

• Financial Management Classes

• Work Ethics

• Group Therapy

The program fee for the Ambassador program will be $150.00 per week or $500.00 per month. Fees include all classes and groups, all expenses associated with lodging and three meals daily.

We realize that in order to stay clean and sober, our lifestyles must change. In early recovery, living alone presents a problem. The Ambassador Program offers one solution.  We combine the concepts of reliance upon God, personal responsibility, and fellowship with other men working toward a common purpose to help us allow God to create for us a new life. Free of loneliness and with the support of and accountability to others, we can begin this new life without the need to return to our old acquaintances and patterns of behavior.

We believe that when we connect with the heart of God, the addiction issues can be overcome with structure, discipline, counseling, education , the Word of God and Prayer. We believe and teach that Jesus Christ is the answer, solution and sufficiency for all our needs, and that it is each individual's responsibility to seek Him as the source of his recovery.
